This workshop will offer effective tools for evaluation and intervention with men who may have the dual concerns of
entitlement (power and control) as well as alcoholism or addictions. Many times the violent behavior is excused as
a condition of the alcoholism/addiction, however, we will offer to the participants new information to assist with
effective interventions.
The first half of the program will focus on defininf the problem and the second half will be devoted to intervention
and tools for direct use in the service that you provide.
Tools used will be worksheets, media (video and film), lecture, discussion and basic cognitive/behavioral concepts.
