1.        Developed a Dual Diagnosis group for Lenawee County Community Mental
       Health for the Chronically/Persistently Mentally Ill.
2.        As a student participated and renovated and “Anger Management” program at Family
       Counseling and Children’s Services.
3.        As a student observed in Intensive Outpatient Program (at Bixby Sage Center) and Domestic
       Violence Alternatives Program (at Family Counseling and Children’s Services).
4.        Developed a psycho-education substance abuse and a therapeutic substance abuse group
       at Herrick Memorial Hospital as well as Bixby Sage Center. (still in operation through Insight
       Counseling of Tecumseh, L.L.C.)
5.        Develop a Family Violence Alternatives Program through Herrick Memorial Hospital and Bixby
       Sage Center (still in operation through Insight Counseling of Tecumseh, L.L.C.)
6.        Was asked by Judge Sheridan to facilitate a Nurturing Fathers Program through Insight
     Counseling of Tecumseh., L.L.C (discussions began in 2001 and the group began 12/28/2001
     – still in operation today).
7.        Provide Didactic and Therapeutic group sessions focusing on recovery and relapse
     prevention in the context of alcohol and drug dependence.

Conducted Professional Trainings

1.        While at Community Mental Health presented the Dual Diagnosis program to peers and
       colleagues.
2.        Presented Nurturing Fathers concepts to trainings for the Batterer’s Intervention Services
       Coalition of Michigan, The Institute on Drug and Alcohol Studies; J.E. Ryan Enterprises.  
3.        For J.E. Ryan Enterprises have presented also Domestic Violence and Substance abuse
       training.
4.        Have conducted several trainings for incoming students and residence life staff through
       Adrian College.
5.        Conducted trainings for the Institute for Alcohol & Drug Studies at the University of Evansville
       Indiana in 2005 & 2006.
6.        Conduct trainings for The Lenawee Chamber for Economic Growth focused on improving
       workplace productivity (topics Alcohol & Other drugs impact on productivity: Anger/violence
       impact on workplace productivity).
7.        Training Entitled: “Sex, Drugs & Rock-N-Roll”: Participants were all substance abuse
       professionals. Focus on media’s impact on youth attitudes towards use of drugs/alcohol, as
       well as sexual behaviors as shaped by the media, i.e, movies, music, TV, etc.
8.        Training Entitled: "Working with Mandated Clients". Participants were substance abuse professionals
       as well as social workers. We focused on the challenges with engaging difficult clients.
9.         Training entitled: "Family Violence/Relationship Violence". Participants were substance
        abuse professionals, social workers and DOC employee's. Primary focus was on providing services
        to batterers.
