This workshop will delve into the aspect of our field that works with groups. We often times will utilize the resource
of others who have engaged in similiar behaviors and have experienced similar consequences in order to assit with
shaping the learning experiences of other members of the group.
We will look at open ended and closed ended groups, as well as utilizing community groups for extended support.
We also will explore specific goals/objectives for group facilitators and the use of worksheets and exercises in
order ot support the learning and growth process.
Tools used will be worksheets, media (video and film), lecture, discussion and basic cognitive/behavioral concepts.
